Reduced Partner Disturbance Beds

Also known as Pocket Spring and Pocket Coil beds, Reduced Partner Disturbance beds deliver an undisturbed night’s sleep by reducing mattress movement. The coils in a pocket spring bed work independently to minimise distrubance caused by you and your partner's movement eliminating the ‘trampoline effect’ of inter-connected spring systems. Each coil conforms to the unique contour of your body by instantly responding to your movement and shape as you sleep.

Memory Foam Beds

High-Density Memory Foam moulds to the shape of your body and doesn’t want to spring back to its original shape straight away. The chemistry of the foam allows the foam cells to spread the air pressure from one to another as you lie on the mattress, making memory foam incredibly effective at reducing the impact of the body’s natural pressure points. A mattress constructed entirely from memory foam also has the added benefit of reducing partner disturbance when your partner moves during sleep. Also known as Visco-Elastic, memory foam was developed by NASA and modified for use in domestic beds. Along with latex, memory foam has become the padding agent of choice in the pillowtop for premium beds. Memory foam is now the leading type of foam in the bedding industry in both the US and Europe and Australia.

Latex Beds

Latex is a premium padding agent used to soften the firmness of a mattress. It is also the softest and most popular padding agent available today. A layer of Latex mattress padding can efficiently reduce pressure points, offers superior air circulation and pulls moisture away from the body into the mattress. Latex is extremely durable and has the benefit of being temperature neutral. Latex is rubber, it’s like a softer version of your car tyres so you’ll never wear it out. Latex and memory foam have similar pressure reducing characteristics.

Pillowtop & Eurotop Beds

A pillow top mattress contains additional padding sewn into the top of the mattress. This padding can consist of regular polyurethane foam, memory foam, latex, fiberfill, polypropylene, cotton or wool. The pillow top is effective at reducing pressure points, relieving pain and fostering better sleep. A euro top mattress is very similar to a pillow top mattress, except that it lines up with the edge of the mattress. Rather than looking like a pillow sitting on top of a mattress, euro tops are sewn to create a flush, uniformed appearance. Like a pillow top, a euro top will provide extra padding for initial comfort as you lay down.
